A Sweet Maternity Session by the Water ?
There’s something so special about capturing a growing family — the excitement, the love, and those little moments in between. This maternity session was filled with all of that and more.
I had the joy of photographing a beautiful couple who are soon welcoming their baby girl into the world. Their sweet son was full of energy and smiles, excited to meet his soon-to-be baby sister. Proudly hugging mom’s belly and making everyone laugh.
We shot near the water, surrounded by tall trees and the soft glow of morning light reflecting off the ripples. It was peaceful and full of life — the perfect backdrop for such a meaningful session. The golden tones, gentle breeze, and laughter made every frame feel alive.
Everything was picture-perfect… except maybe the mosquitos! They definitely decided to crash the session uninvited. But even with a few swats and giggles between shots, the love and excitement this family shared outshined any little distractions nature threw at us.
It was one of those sessions that reminds me why I love what I do — capturing families in moments of anticipation, joy, and connection.
