When we first started going to El Caz restaurant years ago, we were lucky enough to be served by one of the kindest people we’ve ever met. He wasn’t just a great waiter—he was the waiter. Always smiling, always genuine, always making you feel welcome. Over time, friendly conversations turned into real friendship.
This week, we were honored to capture something incredibly meaningful for him and his family.
After nine long years, his family finally came to visit from Mexico. Nine years of distance, waiting, hoping. And this visit was even more special—because it was the first time he got to meet his grandson in person.
