From 13 Years Old to College Graduate | Stan State Graduation Session
Some photography sessions mean a little more.
I’ve had the privilege of photographing this incredible young woman since she was just 13 years old. Through the years, I’ve watched her grow from a sweet teenager into a confident, intelligent, and remarkable young woman. Being asked to capture her college graduation photos felt less like a photo session and more like celebrating a milestone with family.
We met at Stan State for her graduation portraits, and it couldn’t have been a more fitting location. Walking through campus, seeing her proudly wearing her cap and gown, it was impossible not to reflect on how far she’s come. The years seem to pass in the blink of an eye, yet moments like these remind us just how much growth, hard work, and determination happen along the way.
What makes this accomplishment even more special is the family behind it. They are some of the kindest, most supportive people I’ve had the pleasure of knowing. Their encouragement, love, and belief in her have helped shape the amazing person she has become today.
As a photographer, one of the greatest gifts is being invited back year after year to document life’s biggest moments. From teenage years to graduation day, I’ve been honored to witness a small part of her journey.
